Manchurian is a famous Indo Chinese vegetarian dish coated with crispy corn flour and filling of cauliflower florets then tossed in a tangy flying goose sriracha chilli Manchurian sauce.
The Manchurian sauce ingredients
- Garlic and Ginger
- Spring Onions
- Flying Goose Sriracha Sauce
- Soy Sauce
- Chilli Powder
- Corn Flour
Step 1- Start by adding the cauliflower to hot water for about 3 to 5 minutes to lightly blanch them. After blanching, stain the cauliflower florets and completely dry it. Keep aside.
Step 2 - For the better you need cornstarch flour, and a few spices. Mix these ingredients and add one tablespoon of water, keep mixing to avoid small lumps, and to get a smooth
Step 3 - To make sure crispy cauliflower taste, we need to fry it's florets at the medium flame so that the cauliflower crisps up nicely. Note that, do not overheat the pan when you
Step 4 - After frying the cauliflower florets drain the excess oil with a tissue paper and set them aside for a while.
Step 5 - Now it's time to make the Manchurian sauce, first of all fry the ginger, garlic for about 30 seconds, and then add the green onions and cook for another 30 seconds.
Step 6 - After that, add catch up, soya sauce, flying goose sriracha, chilli powder and sugar. Any Manchurian recipes call for Chilli sauce, but I recommend flying goose sriracha because, it works perfectly in this Manchurian sauce.
Step 7 - Heat the sauce until it starts bubbling and then add the cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce.
Step 8 - Toss the cauliflower in the sauce and assure that the Manchurian sauce covers every bit of cauliflower.
